🧡 THE OK SOCK
More than just a pair of socks.
No child should have to face cancer.
At 16 years old, life should be about football, friendships, school and chasing dreams. Not hospital appointments, cancer treatments and uncertainty about the future.
But for Oscar Kelly, a young footballer from Christchurch, New Zealand, everything changed when he was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Rather than letting his diagnosis define him, Oscar wanted to turn something incredibly difficult into something positive.
And that’s how The OK Sock was born.
Designed by Oscar in collaboration with Fly Grip Socks, these socks represent courage, hope and a determination to make a difference.
🧡 EVERY PAIR MAKES A DIFFERENCE
For every pair of OK Socks purchased, $10 goes directly to the Child Cancer Foundation to support children with cancer and their families.
You’re not just buying a pair of football socks.
You’re supporting a young man’s mission to help other children facing cancer.
Every pair purchased. Every pair worn. Every story shared.
It all helps.
⚽ A MESSAGE FROM OSCAR
In Oscar’s own words:
Hi everyone, my name is Oscar Kelly. I’m 16 years old, a footballer and I was born and raised in Christchurch, New Zealand.
In August, I was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Being diagnosed with cancer at 16 has completely changed my perspective on life. One of the biggest things I want to do now is turn my situation into something positive by raising awareness.
I’ve teamed up with Fly Grip Socks to create a custom pair of grip socks specifically to raise funds for the Child Cancer Foundation.
You can wear the socks, spread the message, donate, or simply share this with your friends and family.
This isn’t just about me. It’s about the hundreds of thousands of children around the world who are diagnosed with cancer every year. Kids who should be focusing on school, sport, friends and what they want to be when they grow up — not cancer.
I know firsthand how much life can change in an instant, and I want to do what I can to help make a difference for other kids and their families going through the same thing.
Let’s turn something incredibly tough into something positive, and show kids fighting cancer that they’re not alone.
Thanks for your support.
